this week has been jammed packed preparing for the first set of interviews this weekend. on monday i met Joanna, my interpreter, who will be working with me for the interviews. we have been chatting over email for the past three months to set up this weekend and i am so grateful for all of her hard work and energy.

tomorrow Joanna and I will take the train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen in time to meet our photographer, Daniel, for lunch. saturday and sunday will be packed with interviews so it's great to have the opportunity for us all to get on the same page before starting to work.
